Robin Hood went down 3-0 at half term having given the opponents lots of time on the ball to create many chances. The visitors punished us and scored 3 goals I'm the space of 7 minutes. After having a good team talk Robin Hood came out in the second half looking a lot more settled and less likely to concede but eventually conceded a late goal. Certainly lots of positives but also many improvements to be made for the boys going into the next game.

Robin Hood 0 Vs 2 Rise Park

A fantastic game in which the boys showed great resilience all game. A few defensive errors cost us the game including an own goal which put Rise Park two ahead. Overall a good performance in stopping Rise Park's key players.

Old Basford 2 Vs 1 Robin Hood

Robin Hood were now on the back of two defeats and looking to make amends. The boys had started the game really well keeping their structure and formation, not giving Basford any time on the ball when they were in possession. Robin Hood had lots of possession of the ball creating some decent chances. The goal came just before half time with some lovely one touch play started from Kofi eventually being played into the path of Vernon who converted his shot into the back of the net. The lead did not last for long with basford creating a chance straight from kick off to bring the game level going into half time.

Both teams came out at half time with good intentions to win the game, lots of possession and chances created with Alfie making some crucial saves to keep Robin Hood in the game. Defensively Robin Hood looked strong and with a point looking likely in the game it was not to be with Old basford getting the ball on the edge of the area and scoring in the last 30 seconds of the game. A devastating result for the boys, but a result we will learn from in the future.

Westglade 1 Vs 0 Robin Hood

A game with two teams who have struggled for results of late and in need a of 3 points. The game started a little scrappy with either team unable to keep possession. The game was even and it was only going to one team to lose concentration and in this case it was Robin Hood as the boys were hit on the counter attack for westglade to slot home 5 mins from time.

Rise Park 0 Vs 1 Robin Hood

Robin Hood boys worked extremely hard to get a well deserved victory over a strong Rise Park team. After narrowly losing to them earlier on in the season it was important to try and get something out of the game. Robin Hood had a game plan and the boys did extremely well to play to the game plan and reaped the rewards at the end.

Robin Hood 1 Vs 2 Old Basford

A fantastic game that started really lively with both teams attacking from end to end. Old Basford, through some fantastic play went 1-0 up within 5 Minutes. Robin Hood also created many chances even hitting the post, and It was early in the second half when Robin Hood pulled level with a great effort from Vernon putting the ball past the keeper into the top corner. Both teams pushed for a winner, Robin Hood came close when Makai forced the Old Basford keeper to make a fantastic save after a stinging shot that looked like it was going in. However in the same scenario as the last time we played Old Basford the game looked destined for a draw until a fine shot from Old Basford beat Alfie to make the game 2-1 with 30 Seconds to go. Another Cruel way for the game to end in defeat for Robin Hood.

Southglade 6 Vs 0 Robin Hood

A game in which Robin Hood took an inexperienced year 5 team to prepare for next season. The inexperience showed throughout various parts of the game as Robin Hood conceded some sloppy goals. However the experience will prove beneficial when the boys get to play in next seasons league.

Gladehill 1 Vs 3 Robin Hood

From the 6-0 thrashing from the last game the boys had a point to prove. It was a game in which the boys put their heart and soul in to the work rate. After going 1-0 down the boys showed great composure to come back and score some good goals to go on and win the game eventually winning 1-3. A superb result for the inexperienced pupils, and a result that will certainly boost the pupil confidence.

Robin Hood 0 Vs 2 Westglade

This was the last game of the season for Robin Hood and Westglade. Robin Hood started the game brightly with good possession, however a mistake from a throwing left Robin Hood exposed at the back and conceded the first goal. Westglade second goal came five minutes later with a great counter attacking move. Robin Hood did have lots of chances to draw the game level hitting the post twice and hitting the crossbar. A good game overall and Robin Hood luck forward to next season.
