Robin Hood Vs Southgalde & Old Basford
The boys had their first taste of football for the new season, playing Old Basford and Southglade. Both games were very competitive in what was some difficult wet conditions. Our first game was against Old Basford earning a 1-1 draw to pick up the first point of the season. It was a game in which we created lots of chances but could not convert. Our second game against Southglade again was very competitive, however Southglade got an early goal which seemed to give them some confidence for the remainder of the game. We eventually lost 4-0 and have to take away some constructive feedback to come back to winning ways.
