Maths Challenge Day
On the 11th May, 6 of our year 5 pupils visited the Nottingham Girls' High School along with 9 other schools to take part in a day of maths challenges. The children took part in code-breaking activities; solved logic puzzles and even explored Fibonacci with pineapples and pine cones! Well done to all of the children who were great representatives of Robin Hood and came in third place.
Roots of Empathy
Class Lincoln had a brilliant visit from Caitlin today. She was very active and sociable! Caitlin loved the book of nursery rhymes that Class Lincoln created for her.
To launch our Africa topic, Year 5 had a fantastic day out at Twycross Zoo. Despite the cold weather, the children had a brilliant day and were great representatives of Robin Hood. We saw many African animals including zebras, giraffes, monkeys, giant tortoises, meerkats, hyenas and lemurs.
