Our investigations

First of all everyone did the same investigation about the rate of evaporation.

We poured out 10ml of water onto a paving slab outside and drew around the resulting puddle with chalk. Then, every 10 minutes, we went out and drew around the puddle again and measured it across its width so that we could see if it had shrunk.

The next day we all choose what investigation we would like to do about melting or dissolving. We came up,with our own question, made a prediction, devised a fair test, recorded the results and drew our conclusions. See our presentations to see how we did.
