School Council 2023-24
Our first Primary Parliament. Our year 6 members worked hard together during their first Primary Parliament and learnt all about urban spaces.
One particular focus on the School Council agenda is our Eco Charter. As a council, we will be reviewing and updating this and hope to take on other children for the very important role of Eco Warriors throughout the school to help us be as eco friendly as possible.
During our first School Council meeting we discussed the importance of being Eco Friendly and how we can bring this to the forefront of our community. We have redesigned the Eco Charter and we will be voting next week on who our Eco Warriors will be!
During our last meeting, the children expressed an interest in having dual lingual books in school. Today they spent some time looking through books in both English and Urdu, Polish and Bulgarian. These will be displayed in our library, with more on the way.
