On October 9th, year 6 travelled all the way to London-by coach- to visit the inspiring Natural History Museum as part of our project work on Evolution and Inheritance. We had a fantastic day visiting all the different zones at the museum and finding out more about dinosaurs that roamed the earth and their fossils that have since been discovered; learning about natural disasters and investigating the mammals section. Some highlights included the earthquake simulator and the animatronic T-Rex!
Year 6 really enjoyed researching and making notes about their favourite dinosaur. They then wrote a script for a podcast and broke it down into three main subheadings - appearance, diet and habitat. After writing their script, they recorded their podcasts using clips. Happy listening!
