Celebrations

This half term we have been looking at different celebrations. We started with Diwali, reading the story of Rama and Sita and learning about what happens of each day of the celebrations. Mrs Tabreham-Ford showed us how they do the mehndi patterns on their hands using henna. We also made our own diva lamps out of clay and decorated them.

Next we looked at why we have bonfire night, and talked about the different ways of staying safe at our bonfire celebrations. In our free flow we made our own fireworks and bonfire pictures and Mrs Richardson helped us to make our own chocolate apples.
