We went on a visit to Southglade Library, we talked about how a library works and were all able to pick 1 book to bring to school. We have been really enjoying reading all the different books we picked up.
Whilst learning about amphibians Mrs Richardson brought in a frog she found in her garden, we all enjoyed looking at the frog but some of us were scared he might jump out!
We have also been learning about the lifecycle of plants and the different plants there are. To help us identify different plants we went on a flower hunt around our school grounds. We couldn’t believe how many different types of plants and flowers we saw.
We have been looking at the different animal classes, to help us identify the different types of bugs we went on a bug hunt! We found lots of different insects in our grounds such as slugs, worms and butterflies. We remembered to be very careful with them and put them back in their environments after we had had a look at them.
