Year 3/4 Handball Competition 2018-19

Our Year 3/4 Pupils have had the opportunity to take part in this years 3/4 Handball Competition. The pupils had two weeks of training before the competition to understand the rules and learn the skills required for the competition.

At the competition we were placed in a pool with Our Lady, Scotholme, Jubilee & Forest Fields. For most of the pupils it was the first time they had ever competed in a competition, but also a first time they had competed in a Handball competition. All pupils were fantastic and showed great resilience, and a willingness to learn whilst adapting to the environment they found themselves in. We ended up finishing fifth winning 4 and losing 2 of our 6 games!
