Creswell Crags

Year 3 really enjoyed their trip to Creswell Crags in Derbyshire as part of our Stone Age topic. We dug for bones belonging to Stone Age animals... and even saw a giant woolly mammoth's tooth! Surprisingly we met a Stone Age man who invited us into his cave to tell us about his life and how he came to own a cave lion coat. We also enjoyed exploring the exhibition to see and find out about Stone Age artefacts.
