Giant sleepover!
We had a great outdoors day and sleep over at school. We went to Forest School, had a scavenger hunt and had some fun doing some nature art. Take a look to see what we got up to.
Embracing change!
For RSE day we celebrated change by creating a butterfly to show how change can mean growth and development. We know that change can be scary but it can also be exciting too.
We had a fantastic sports day. We used our throwing skills in the javelin and chest push activities and tried to balance on one leg for 20 seconds. Later on, we competed in lots of relay races. What a great day!
In Geography we are learning about maps. We went on a walk around our school grounds and took photos of the landmarks and points of interest. We created a simple map of our journey whilst on the walk. We will use these to make our own sketch maps of our school grounds.
In Science we have been learning about plants. We learned about germination and saw how a bean grew.. We carried out an experiment and found out that plants need sunlight, warmth and water to grow.
