Spring Term 1
It has been a busy start to the new term! We are learning through the topic of 'We love Julia Donaldson' and are enjoying listening to, learning about and learning through the many different books she has written.
We have been focusing on 'The Monkey Puzzle' and have been challenging ourselves with story maps, detailed paintings, Makaton signs of the story and puppet retelling.
Separate from our topic we have enjoyed a visit from the Fire Brigade and learnt how to keep safe and the important steps to take if we are in danger. We have also thoroughly enjoyed a day dedicated to China and spent the day in different classrooms engaging in 5 different activities.
