Year 5/6 Sports hall Athletics Heats

Wednesday 7th October saw our Robin Hood Athletics team go to Oakwood Academy to perform in the Indoor Sports Hall Athletics Tournament. After being put in a heat with Snape Wood, Glade Hill and Southwark we know we were going to be tested. Our Team showed lots of resilience to get us through the afternoon with lots of 2nd place finishes in the Track events finishing behind a very strong and quick Southwark team. We showed fantastic teamwork in the field events to boost our points. There could only be 4 teams going through to the Semi Finals with 8 schools competing overall in the afternoon. We did enough, with a score of 286 points that helped us finish 3rd overall behind Southglade and Southwark, putting us through to the Semi Finals taking place at Southglade on the 9th November.
