Virgin Galactic Persuasive Adverts
In English we have been writing persuasive adverts for the new Virgin Galactic space crafts. We also used the school ipads to record our adverts and we used our recordings to create television adverts in our ICT lessons.

Planet sizes
We had a fun lesson learning about the different sizes of the planets. We learnt that Jupiter is the largest planet and Mercury is the smallest. If Earth was the size of a cherry tomato then Jupiter would be the size of a watermelon!
National Space Centre Trip
Year 5 had a fascinating time at the National Space Centre. Look out for their Trip Advisor reviews coming soon!
