Robin Hood vs Whitemoor
The boys U10 team looked to push on in the league and add to their tally of points after the 2-0 victory at Old Basford last week. Both teams started the game battling for possession and creating chances to break the deadlock. Whitemoor were the more successful and after conceding a corner and clearing away only for the ball to come out to a Whitemoor midfielder who striked the ball wonderfully to make the score 1-0. Logan was able to equalise shortly after, Jake who came on as a substitute ensured Robin Hood went ahead with a fantastic header to make the game 2-1. Whitemoor pulled the game level with 5 minutes to go and went ahead with two quick goals in the last 30 seconds of the game to win 4-2.
A great game and a game in which the boys will feel hard done by, but we move onto our final set of fixtures after Christmas in the hope we can gain more points.
