Aiming High to Excel and Exceed

Autumn Term 2

On Wednesday, Year 5 had a workshop with a representative of the We Charity. The session was used to launch the community projects that Year 5 will be working on, to try help people in our community. We are excited to see where the project will take us!
Year 5 we’re trying to find out which nail would rust quicker. Identical nails were placed in tap water and in salt water. The children then observed the changes over the course of 5 days and found out that the nail in salt water had much more rust on it in comparison to the tap water nail.

Science Investigation

Class Lincoln we’re working in groups to learn a section from Pandora’s box. Mrs Whiting encouraged them to use actions to help them memorise the story.

Learning Pandora’s Box

Year 5 have had the pleasure of Nottingham University students delivering some high quality Tag Rugby Sessions. The pupils have really enjoyed the sessions, learning a variety of skills and tactics.
