Hansel and Gretel

In our literacy lessons, we have been looking at the story of 'Hansel and Gretel.' We have really enjoyed focussing on this story and have enjoyed lots of fun activities.

Here we are making our very own gingerbread house just like the one in the story! We all then wrote a set of instructions to tell people how to make a gingerbread house. We then got to try our creations! They were delicious!

Lost and Found

In our literacy lessons we have been looking at the story of 'Lost and Found' by Oliver Jeffers. We have packed suitcases with items we think that we will need on our trip to the South Pole. We know it will be cold Brrrr...

Commando Joe

In December, Year 1 took part in team building exercises with Commando Joe. We loved taking part in the activities; it showed us how to work well as part of a group and helped us to keep fit!
