Sport + Move and Learn Programme
This year at Robin Hood we have continued to developed a great relationship with Notts County FITC . We have been lucky enough to have staff member deliver the +Sport, Move and Learn programme to our year 3's for a second year running. The programme, which is delivered in partnership with The English Football League Trust and Ferrero, is a FREE school-based educational programme for primary school children. It aims to encourage physical activity, promote nutritional education and build awareness of the importance of a healthy diet and active lifestyle.
Over the course of 6 weeks, the children spend 45 minutes completing a practical session and 45 minutes in the classroom every week, covering six different topics relating to the body, nutrition and the importance of exercise. This has been very beneficial for all children taking part to understand how to lead healthy and active lifestyles.
