We went to Bestwood Country Park this week. We were launching our topic, How Have  Invasions Changed Britain? We also had a go at some den building.

Anglo Saxon Day

Year 4 had an Anglo Saxon visitor in to teach us about warfare and normal farm life once they had settled in Britain. She had the children dressing up in Anglo Saxon armour and weaponry and played Anglo Saxon children's games such as taefl and knuckles.
