Year 5/6 Sportshall Athletics 2018-19
Our Year 5/6 Athletics team started this years campaign looking to qualify from the heats into the Semi Finals which will take place after half term. Only the top two teams out of 7 schools taking part would qualify and with the standard getting exceptionally higher each year it makes it much more difficult for schools to qualify for the Semi Finals.
The team had to work hard and showed great resilience throughout but came out fighting and strong finishing the competition with a high score of 293 points to finish runners up in the competition securing a Semi Final spot. A massive well done to all the individuals that took part and we are certainly looking forward to competing in the Semi Finals.

The team were put to their paces when competing in the Semi Finals of this years Year 5/6 Athletics Competition! We were up against some strong teams. We all worked extremely hard to keep up with other schools but ended this years competition finishing at the Semi Final stage!
A fantastic achievement for all involved well done!
