Useful Websites

Parent Zone offers parents great resources and guides to help keep children of all ages safe in the digital world. For a small cost, there is also a course for parents to increase their own knowledge and understanding, which takes just 20 minutes to complete.

We fully recommend signing up to the National Online Safety website as this equips all members of our school community, including staff and parents, with the knowledge they need to tackle the many online dangers. Here you can find advice leaflets about individual apps that your child may be using and support for issues which you may experience.

The NSPCC website shares some fantastic support for parents who have particular worries about keeping their child safe online. There are sections which help you to change your parental controls and advice given for many other topics to keep children up to 18 years old safe.

This is a scheme of work designed by Google which we follow across KS2 as part of our Computing curriculum.

Here you can find advice and resources to support you in promoting online safety, but also for your children to use the internet responsibly and positively.
