Autumn Term

Welcome back everybody!

A fantastic start to the new academic year!

In Autumn 1 we have been settling in, meeting and making new friends and learning about each other through our topic of 'What makes me marvellous?'

Please have a look at what F2 (Class Castle and Class Oak) have been getting up to

Autumn 2 has been very busy and full of fantastic learning opportunities !

We have learnt all about celebrations through our new friend Paddington Bear 😊

The children have also been learning all about digraphs and we love to find them in different words as well as spotting them in Alphablocks! We have been working hard on our handwriting, name writing and sentence writing. In maths we have been using more mathematical language in our play and in our focus carpet sessions. We also love learning about the world around us, how to keep safe and warm during winter and why we celebrate certain things.

We were very impressed with how well the children did in their Elf walk and how much they persevered to do more than 10 laps of the playground!

The children also worked incredibly hard to perform their first Nativity and we are all very proud of how well they did!
