Robin Hood Vs Westglade - 19-11-15

Robin Hood 3 Vs 4 Westglade

Robin Hood played their second game of the season against a strong Westglade team. Robin Hood had made 5 changes to the team that started against Southglade the week before. This proved to be beneficial as Robin Hood stayed organised with each player keeping their positions and playing the ball effectively between them.

The game progressed really well and started to become extremely entertaining with both teams creating chances at goal, only for the goalkeepers to be switched on and keep their teams in the game.

It was Westglade who broke the dead lock twice in 5 minutes putting Robin Hood behind 0-2. Robin Hood had showed fantastic resilience to keep playing and staying organised, this all paid off as Robin Hood had created more and more chances for them to eventually bring the game back to 2-2 before Half Time.

Second Half started very similar to the first with both teams creating chances, staying organised and showing that they could work together, all these key points had brought the game to 3-3 with two very good goals. It wasn't until the end when Westglade had earned themselves a corner. A good ball into the box had been converted into the back of the net ending the game with Westglade taking all 3 points.

Robin Hood players came off the pitch feeling disappointed that they didn't get a point but knew they had worked hard as a team and showed fantastic resilience to keep themselves in the game.
