Aiming High to Excel and Exceed

Spring Term 1

This half term our learning is based around the story Elmer by David McKee. Elmer is an unusual Elephant as he's patchwork rather than grey. We will be learning all about Elephants: the 2 main types of African /Asian; the similarities & differences between them; body parts such as trunk & tusks & their habitats. We will be doing a lot of creative activities, ranging from painting to paper weaving. We plan to have an Elmer day where Parents/Carers/Grandparents can come and do activities with their children.

Planting Hyacinth bulbs

On the 6th of February we held a creative Elmer session for our children, where parents/carers could join us in the fun. Thank you to all, it was a wonderful morning.
