Communication day
P.E challenge activity: We needed to safely cross the 'river' with our team mates. It got especially tricky when all but 2 members of each team became blind-folded. We had to communicate really clearly!
Egyptian hieroglyphics: Mrs Norman told us all about ancient Egyptain writing. We each designed our own cartouche and learned about Egypatin numbers.
International greetings: We designed letters with Mrs Cosgrove, which spelt out 'hello' in different languages.
Communicating through Braille: Mr Overton and the reading ambassadors told us a story about Louis Braille, who invented a system of dots which enable blind people can read. How incredbile!
