In what was a very warm afternoon, Pupils from Robin Hood embarked on a journey to try and become Quad Kids City champions 2015-16 as they competed in the finals down at Harvey Hadden Sports Complex. There were 8 schools that took part in this final event, and all schools were ready for the challenge.
Each pupil from each team performed the same events to try and earn as many points as they could as an individual. These points would then equate to a whole team result, The events each pupils completed were 50m Sprint, 400m Run, Standing Long Jump, Howler Throw, and 400m Relay.
Our fantastic team who like most teams that have represented the school this year showed fantastic resilience. Some hard fought races were the highlight of the afternoon led Robin Hood finishing a respectable 5th out of 8th and only have a 50 points difference to finishing 3rd.
There was one special mention for Lily Hill who received a Bronze medal for finishing the 3rd best girl within the competition. Congratulations Lily!
