Safer Internet Day is marked every year in schools as an opportunity to promote the key messages around Online Safety. For 2023, the theme was 'Want to talk about it?', giving children a chance to talk about the issues that are relevant/important to them. Classes across school took part in activities using resources from the UK Safer Internet Centre.
Our competition this year involved families discussing whether they would prefer to use technology or not for everyday activities at home. Children were then asked to create presentations showing how they use technology at home - and how they keep safe!
Our top prize was a set of APPLE AIR PODS, kindly donated to us by KRCS...
We had over 40 entries, which made Mr Beeston's decision very difficult.

Benjamin Havers - Year 5
