The boys continued the season with a second game in a week, and looking to revive the season after Tuesdays loss at home to Fernwood. The boys started the game in a positive way winning possession early and creating chances going forward. The both Sharner and Joshua stayed organised and focused at the back to stop any potential threat from Old Basford. The continued attacks paid off as the boys got their first goal from a corner in which the goalkeeper palmed into his own net, from a good delivery by Jamal giving Robin Hood a 1-0 lead at half time.
The boys came out in the second half with the same spirit and desire to want to win the game, and even though Old Basford had showed glimpses in front of goal they never really tested our goalkeeper. The boys got their second goal half way through the second half with a good turn from Logan slotting home past the keeper. The boys looked comfortable all game and thoroughly deserved the win they didn't quite get on Tuesday.
