Basketball - February 2016

Friday 5th February 2016 saw the first of many Intra School Competitions. This competition involved year 5/6 playing Basketball. Each school had a total of 8 players involved each playing in teams of 4. Each team played each other twice and the top two teams would play in the final whilst the bottom two teams would battle for the 3rd place play off.

There was some fantastic basketball played by both sets of schools, and each school showing they could collaborate extremely well. There were a variety of skills used also including types of passes, and shots towards baskets. It was a Rise Park Vs Robin Hood final with both A teams reaching the final. After an intense 5 Minutes it was Rise Park who were victorious in the first tournament, a big well done to them.
