Year 5/6 Handball

This year we took a set of pupils to take part in this years City Handball competition. We were put in a pool of 5 teams who all took part to reach the final stages of the competition to eventually reach the City Finals. The afternoon was fiercely competitive and from the first whistle we knew that we had to adapt and learn quickly to try and beat teams.

As the afternoon went on the resilience that was shown by both the boys and girls was fantastic we ended the pool games winning 1 drawing 1 and losing 2 which was not enough to take us through. It was a fantastic afternoon in which all of the pupils loved playing a sport that was relatively new to them. A great effort and hope to improve the next time we play.
