Under 10's

Southwark 0, Robin Hood 3

‚ÄčA fine start to the Under 10s' season. In slippery, Autumnal conditions, the boys started cautiously but grew in confidence throughout the game. Despite both teams having chances in the first half the game was scoreless by the break. In the second half though, the Under 10s took control of the game with three fine goals. Firstly Damarni, then Keegan and finally Paddy scoring well to win the game. This was a team performance, all players contributing well to a good performance. A special mention should be made of Tyler, making his debut in goal, who kept his nerve and kept the ball out of our net with several fine saves.

Cantrell 4- 2 Robin Hood

Another away game for the Under 10's, this time away at Cantrell on a very cold November afternoon. Cantrell were very quick to start the game on the front foot with two early goals, however, Robin Hood encouraged each other well and worked hard to get back into the game. A brilliant passing move ended with Bradley finishing well to make the score 2-1 just before the break. During the second half, Cantrell restored their  two goal advantage before Bradley pulled another goal back with a cool finish. With Robin Hood chasing the equaliser near the end of the game, Cantrell scored a fourth on the counter-attack. Robin Hood were unlucky not to earn at least a point and special mentions should go to captain Paddy as well as Tom and Harry who made their debut.
