To help us understand understand how the Digestive System works, we were fortunate enough to have a Virtual Reality workshop which allowed us to go inside the human body and explore each organ that is essential to digestion. This was amazing fun and we loved seeing first hand how poo was made!
During Spring 1, we celebrated China Day and looked at wonderful inventions that originated form their country. We made catapults, designed lanterns and recreated buildings that are famous in China.
As part of our RSC work around this year’s text of “Merchant of Venice” we had a workshop with a local musician. He taught us all about rhyme, iambic pentameter and beat so that we could create our own verse. We looked at call and response and showed great confidence in performing our lyrics to the rest of the class.
